Humana People to People Botswana started its operations in 2001 from modest beginnings; a time when the country was facing a deadly pandemic, HIV and AIDS, and the Government of Botswana was in search for initiatives to help curb the situation. With the success of a community centred programme called Total Control of the Epidemic (TCE) in our neighbouring countries, Humana People to People benchmarked and implemented a similar program in Botswana under the name Total Community Mobilization (TCM). The program focused on mobilising communities using a door-to-door campaign, which ultimately reached over 685,000 people.
Since then, we have expanded our services to most areas of the country, leveraging our strengths to impact the most vulnerable communities. From addressing Health as one of our key priorities, we address various social problems such as, but not limited to, Gender Based Violence (GBV), Child Labour, Agriculture and Climate Change, Child Welfare and Human Rights.
We continue working with communities in the country to implement cost-effective projects addressing issues that hinder the wellbeing of individuals and communities.

Humana People to People Botswana is proud to work with a diverse range of partners who support our social and human development mandate.
We express our sincere gratitude for our partners’ invaluable partnerships over the years. Their dedication and commitment to supporting the various projects which we implement has been instrumental in achieving our goals and project mandate.
We truly value this collaboration and look forward to continuing to work together to impact the lives of the communities of Botswana positively. Your support is deeply appreciated, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

We are committed to adhering to the highest standards of accountability, transparency and good governance as Humana People to People Botswana.
We undergo an annual audit to ensure accountability and transparency especially in the use of donor funding. In addition, we are open to our partners conducting their own audits for the programs they fund; to maintain rigorous financial oversight.
